Aaron spent his early years as a barefoot kid on the plains of Kenya, East Africa, where he learned the value of fighting to excel and the need to serve those around him. After his father was killed in the African bush, Aaron moved back to the U.S. with his mother and twin sister, where they eventually landed in Colorado Springs. His competitive drive lead to a love of sports and lifelong friendships developed from playing football, basketball, and running track at Colorado Springs Christian High School, where he also met the love of his life, Shannon.Aaron moved to Indiana to play football for Taylor University, but it only took one year away for him to realize his future, and soon to be wife, was back in beautiful Colorado. He moved back to Colorado in 1999 and finished an Bachelor’s Of Science in Biology at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
Aaron firmly believes that the difference between Realtors who excel and those who merely service, is the willingness and ability to work tirelessly for their clients. Aaron’s work ethic was germinated on the African plain and developed through the discipline of athletics, but was finally refined through his University years.
Coming from a low income family, the only way Aaron knew to get through college was to
work as hard as possible and take nothing for granted, which is exactly what he did. While earning his degree, Aaron worked 2 full time jobs on nights and weekends, played rugby for the Colorado Springs Rugby Club while taking a full course load, and graduated in 4 years with a degree in Biology. Two months after graduation, he married his high school sweetheart and dove heart first into real life. Now living on the north end of Colorado Springs, Aaron and Shannon have two lively little girls, Adrianna and Ella.
Aaron’s love of real estate evolved out of his work as a structural inspector, and the expertise gained from that specialized background is an invaluable asset to his clients throughout Colorado’s front range. As a structural inspector, Aaron began working almost exclusively with real estate investors and quickly discovered a talent for evaluating the real estate market and leveraging his wide network of relationships to connect investors, homeowners, and real estate professionals.
After several years buying, selling, and renting homes as a real estate investor, Aaron realized that more and more seasoned investors, and even realtors, were asking his advice on everything from real estate market trends to how to negotiate contracts. That was his proverbial “lightbulb” moment, and Aaron hasn’t looked back since. Aaron now serves every client with an untiring work ethic, tenacity, and loyalty, and the hope that every home is just the beginning of a lifelong friendship.
